There is lots of different ways to make this cake. Each country has its own kind of recipe. This is the one I found was the best I ever tasted. Enjoy!

1 package Kanafa dough
Syrup :
2 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups water
Filling:
150g butter
1 tablespoon rose water
1 1/2 cups cream
1 1/4 cups milk
3 tbsp corn flour
1 package of cream cheese
0,25 cup rosted chopped almond
Boil until the syrup until it becomes thick. Melt butter and spread it into the dough . Add half of the dough in a mold. Cook the filling until it is thickened. Bake half the dough 200 degrees C until it got light color. Add the filling. And the last of Kanafa dough. Bake until nicely browned , about 20 minutes . Then turn the syrup over the cake .
