Lemon and licorice cookies … That´s childhood candies for me. Cookies , that’s among the tastiest which is right? Freshly baked with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee … Mums

These cakes can freeze before you roll them in licorice and sugar and baking.  In this way , you always have close and easy baked cakes in a couple of minutes away. And no dishes to take care of…
200g butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
0.5 cups powdered sugar
grated zest of one lemon
2 cups flour
a few drops of yellow food coloring
Garnish:
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon of licorice powder
Beat butter , vanilla and sugar with electric mixer , use the whisk , until it all becomes light and fluffy. Add the flour and beat on low speed until it became a crumbly dough. Press the dough with your hand in the bowl . Put the dough on the kitchen counter and bake it to a thick roll . Then roll in sugar / laktris blan no . Then cut into thick slices and place on a baking sheet covered . Bake at 175 c for 10 minutes .

I love lemon and I love licorice, but aside from Swedish candies, I’ve never heard of them together. Can’t wait to try this recipe, sounds intriguing (and delicious)!
