The salt stones I bought at Duå was really a bargain ! Talk about being able to conjure up a new type of food! One of the best purchases I’ve made ! Thoroughly recommended . It is a specially treated salt stone to withstand the high heat from the oven. Would really recommend that you try to buy them. You will not regret it . No oil or fat is needed as food cooks is very healthful .
Salt Stone baked bass with thyme and mashed potatoes on wooden board
4 filleting Perch
0.5 tsp lemon pepper
0.5 tsp thyme
mashed potatoes :
5 medium potatoes
25g butter
0.5 tsp salt
0.5 tsp pepper
4-5 tablespoons of milk
2 tablespoons dill
2 boards of the Cedar Wood
Season the fish ( not salty ) and let them get to soak for a few hours in the fridge.
Boil the potatoes completely and turn off the boiling water. Season and add the milk. Take the hand mixer to make a really fluffy mashed potatoes.
Add salt stones in the oven 250 degrees about 20 minutes. Place the stone on the plank . Place the fish on the rocks . Set back in the oven for a few minutes. Take out and enjoy!
Really Yummy …
