Salt stone baked Herring with Wild Pepper

This is perfect as a light lunch or as an appetizer. Simple, tasteful and amazing flavors. Both the eye and the palate gets his. More difficult than this need not be to fix something that you pay dearly at restaurants. This is for 2 people.

Salt Stone Baked Herring with Wild Pepper
14 pc cleaned herrings
1 teaspoon crushed pepper Game
1 teaspoon dill
½ lemon
Add each of herring pepper and dill. Fold them together and allow to soak for 1 hour. Heat the blocks of the oven 250 C for 20 minutes. Remove the stones and add the fish. Back in the oven for about 1-2 minutes. Ready to serve. Add the lemon next so each one is pushing the quantity he wants.

    Sounds wonderful, especially if you like mackerel as much as I do. I did find salt stones on Amazon. Now I’ll look to see if there are any at the gourmet shops. I doubt I’ll have any problem finding them. See what you’ve done? šŸ˜‰

Good to know you can find them on Amazone. I might try out meat soon on them. šŸ˜‰ Let me know when you got them and what you will cook on them, becouse so far I havent found anyone even tried them, less cooking on them. And yes Herring is the best šŸ™‚
