Saffron Marinated Salmon with almond is fabulously good. Simple, luxurious and it is extremely fast to prepare. Not so very expensive either.
1 piece of Salmon
1 pinch of saffron or a few drops Saffron Extract
2 tbsp flaked almonds
salt and pepper
butter
Brush the salmon with saffron and let stand for a few hours in a cool place. Add salt and pepper. Place salmon in an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with almonds and the butter. Set the oven at 200 c for about 10 minutes or until salmon is done. Serve with pickled lemon and mashed potatoes.
