
Today , it was special in many ways here at home. I finally got to inaugurate my new fancy plates I found. Just ones that I always dreamed of being owned by . But pray always tend to cost a fortune , and I have no fortune. But by chance the other day so I got hold of 3 pcs which was kind free. Wonderful! Happiness was made āā! It’s so special dishes that you might as well not serve anything in them.
Yesterday had them in my grocery store, Coop, so good price on fresh calamari . Was in two minds whether I should buy them or not. But clearly I struck. The problem with fresh calamari is you, I , and many others, as well as no idea how to clear them. So the girl behind the counter got a quick lesson in how to clear Squid . So home late and clear the Squid . Was very good. And it resulted in
Spanish Calamares Paella
2 servings of rice
2 pinches of saffron
salt , smoked paprika
Let this cook on low heat .
1 chopped yellow onion
2 crushed garlic cloves
2 peeled chopped tomatoes
0.5 tuft parsley
0.5 tuft Coriander
salt, pepper,
0.5 tsp hot paprika
1 tsp smoked paprika
Fry the onion. Add the garlic , spices and
tomatoes. Boil, covered, for about 15 minutes.
2 cleaned and shared Cephalopods
1 diced red pepper
low water, salt
Cook the squid with water, spices and peppers in 5 minutes max. Save the water.
Mix all ingredients in a saucepan over low heat. Let simmer on low heat about 15 minutes. Add if needed liquid from the octopus. Serve
