Meskouta – Moroccan yoghurt cake, the best one

In my opinion this Meskouta the tastiest in the world! One of Morocco’s most delicious cakes! So here’s how a friends mother makes this cake. But there are so different variations on this.
Meskouta
juice of 1 lemon
3 chopped dates
3 tablespoons candied lemon peel
3 eggs
120g yogurt
1 1/2 cup Sugar
2 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tsp baking powder
1 Pinch of salt
Stir everything until smooth. Turn into a greased and floured mold. Bake at 175c for about 40-50 minutes.
