Begrir – Moroccan pancakes with thousand holes


These Moroccan pancakes sold everywhere among the streets. The holes formed of honey sucked up extra good and it will be amazing good. The more holes formed, dessto better cook’s husband. They also called for the 1000 hole cakes. And yes they’ll just baked on one side.

Begrir
375 ml of semolina
200 ml flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
800 ml hot water
2 tablespoons dry yeast
butter for frying
Mix the dry ingredients thoroughly. Add the water gradually and stir well so there are no lumps. Cover the bowl and let it get to rise for about 30 minutes.
Take a frying pan and add a little butter. Keep on medium heat on the plate. Beat in a little of the batter when the butter is melted. Let bake until barely browned and just on one side. Served with honey.
