Shlada bel betona – Moroccon tunasalad


Tuna salad is a very common dish in Morocco. However, usually served not as the main course, but as a side dish to chicken or other food.
This salad tastes fresh Moroccan spices and a fresh tone of lemon.
Shlada bel betonaย 
2 cups cooked rice
1 can of tuna in water (drained)
1 finely chopped romaine lettuce
1 can of corn
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
4 artichokes chopped
1 tsp Raz el hanout
1 tablespoon parsley
1 teaspoon dill
1 teaspoon cumin
1 chopped pickled lemon
Everything is mixed together and let it to stand a few hours before serving.

      Yes you must try it ๐Ÿ™‚ Its fantastic with tuna. ๐Ÿ™‚ Raz el hanout means the head of the salesman if you translate it from arabic. And that is a spicemix of sometimes 30 different spices, so its a spicemix. In Morocco each and every spice salesman has his own mix. ๐Ÿ™‚ You can find it in arabic food stores or at http://www.olioli.se ๐Ÿ™‚
