Grains of paradise – Maniguette Chicken

Grains of paradise or the more common name Maniguette Pepper makes me shiver with pleasure. This spice is so useful to so many different things. It’s not really a pepper but related to ginger, cardamom and turmeric. Previously on this blog written about it. Sure it’s just a kind of spice but alas much more it tastes. When you taste so it’s easy to think that you used a herb leaf up. Therefore, I use it mostly just as it is with salt to meat. Great ingredients so you do not need a lot of other things.
1 piece of chicken
1 tsp Maniguette or Grains of paradise
salt
Rub the chicken with the spice and salt. Let be in 3-4 hours cold. Browned in the oven 200c for about 20 minutes.
