Swedish Cheesecake with Tonka beans

One of the most Swedish dishes available is Cheesecake. However, it is not like regular cheesecake but something else entirely. There is for example no dough underneath. With a little twist so this cheesecake is absolutely stunning! Easy and quick to make. And with whipped cream and fresh berries, you need nothing more, until all the barrels are empty.
Tonka Swedish Cheesecake
3 eggs
5 tablespoons granulated sugar
50 ml of sweet almond
1 grated tonkabean
50 oz plain flour
300ml milk or cream
500 g Keso or cottage cheese

Beat eggs and sugar. Grind almonds and tonkabean. Pour this into the egg and sugar mixture. Whisk flour then down and then the milk. Stir finally down the cottage cheese. Pour batter into a greased ovenproof dish that holds about 1 Β½ liters, or take two smaller dishes. Bake in center of oven at 175 degrees for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Serve warm with fresh berries or jam and whipped cream

Wow… that looks so good. Since there is no dough, is it hard to cut slices?

Thanks πŸ™‚ Just wait until it got cold and then no problems at all to make slices.
