Fresh clams on the Moroccan way

I found a hole bunch of cheap and wild mussels. Which is rare where I live, belive me.
The tastiest mussels I’ve always eaten on my travels. Especially those that are cooked in small carts, type hot dogs carts out of nowhere type. Middle of the night so the food one could find, then, was those little carts that sold the most amazing clams imaginable.

Imagen in the desert, dark night, just with the stars….
Fresh clams on the Moroccan way
1 kg fresh mussels thoroughly decontaminated
1 chopped yellow onion
2 chopped tomatoes
2 cloves garlic crushed
2 teaspoons Ras el hanout
1 teaspoon cumin
0.5 tsp hot paprika
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 fish broth
1 pinch saffron
0.5 tsp harissa
salt, pepper
possibly some water
Saute the onion soft in a pan. Add garlic and tomatoes and spices and broth. Put the lid on and let get simmer for about 15 minutes. Add any water. Add the mussels and stir. Put the lid on and simmer for about 10 minutes on low heat. Stir a few times.
Serve with good bread.
