Cinnamon and oat cookies – extremely tasty. Best cookies I have ever eaten

You know when you take the first bite and the feeling of all the problems is gone? And you eating something out of this world? Then you should make this cookies! I promise you that you have to do more of them within 48h. Here even the dog get extra crazy when I baking them.

A tips I learned after doing them for many, many years is roll balls of about 3/4 of the dough and freeze them in. And just take them out 15 minutes before you let some of them in the oven. Just pre baked bread in shops. And a good thing to let the guests been meet at the door of new baked cookies.

This time I tried raisins from Moscatel grape. Really perfect but any kind of a sweeter raisins works perfect. You can read about a very nice nearby winery who using this grape. Nilva wine

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 110 g oat
  • 220 g raisins

Preheat the oven to 175c

Mix butter and sugar together to a fluffy airy batter. Add one egg at the time. And mix it good. Add the vanilla too.

Add the flour, salt, bicarbonate and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Add the oats and mix it together. Add then the butter and raisins. Work it so everything mixing well.

Make round balls, about size of half golf ball. And place it with good space on the greasing paper. (Freeze in what you don’t need separated from each other)

In the oven for about 12 minutes or got nice colour.
