Asian tuna steak salad

For me tuna been very much associated with tins, and I’m not a vert big fan of tuna in tins. And fresh tuna in restaurants been very often over cooked and became a vert dry meaty piece of fish.

But one day we was invited to a friends and had fantastic grilled tuna! And I became a fan of fresh light cooked tuna. What a lovely fish! We have just outside my house one of the best fishing waters for them. What a fantastic treat to be able to eat some so delightful fresh.

Asian tuna steak salad – a quick easy done dish. A great treat for you and your family.

Here comes a recipe for a easy, quick tuna salad! Perfect when you are in a hurry or having some friends over. A other word the perfect fast food dish!

ASIAN TUNA STEAK SALAD

  • 200 g fresh radishes
  • 2 teaspoons pickled ginger
  • 2 teaspoon low salt soya
  • 2 tuna steaks
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Roasted sesame seeds
  • Wakame salad if you like

Chop 2 radishes and mix with the ginger. Add soya and olive oil and a dash of water. Stir it together.

Slice the rest of the radishes very fine. And dress the plates with them. Boil the edamame accordingly to the package. And add them on top of the

Heat the frying pan quite hot, as the tuna will not stay in for long in the pan. Add the olive oil into the pan. Salt and pepper the fish. And put it in gently. Fry for about 1-2 minutes and bring it on the plate. I prefer the tuna to be medium rare in the middle.

Put the fish on top of the beans.

Top the tuna with the soya/ginger/ radishes sauce.

I love wakame seaweed salad and this dish it’s a perfect match. Sprinkle some roasted sesames seeds over the dish if you like.
